ADVERTISEMENT FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

The Tazewell County Public Service Authority is accepting Statement of Qualifications from legal firms to provide Bond Counsel services for the Northern Tazewell Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade and the Falls Mills Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade.  Only Statement of Qualifications combining services for both projects will be accepted.  Selection will be made on the following criteria:

            1.)  Qualifications of the firm and bond counsel representative;

            2.)  Experience in preparing bond documents for loan closings for the Virginia

                  Department of Health (VWSRF) and the Virginia Department of 

                  Eviromental Quality (RLF) through the Virginia Resources Authority; and

            3.)  Typical time frame for completion.

Statements of Qualifications will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. local time, on June 19, 2026, marked on outside of submittal “Bond Counsel Services.”  Submittal should be sent to the attention of Ms. Jan Cordle, PSA Administrator, Tazewell County Public Service Authority, P. O. Box 190, North Tazewell, Virginia 24630, or Overnight/Express to 168 Tazewell Mall Circle, Tazewell, Virginia 24651. Submittals received after June 19, 2026, 10:00 a.m. local time will not be considered.

Minority Owned firms (MBEs) and Women Owned firms (WBEs) are encouraged to respond.
